Well… I made it to the University of York, and survived Freshers’ Week; making my way through two fire alarms, a few dozen pints of Guinness and more free Dominos pizza than I care to remember.

I’ve had just the best day at the Future of Web Apps conference. Early morning was Kevin Rose on “The Future of News”, followed by Edwin Aoki for ten minutes talking (more!) about web apps. He sort of set the tone for the day… ;)

Today I finish three weeks of employment, the first proper work I’ve ever done. It’s been in a small restaurant startup in south west London, a place called The Kitchen.
