Sweets

Since I’ve had very little (free) time in London since the end of June, I only just started going through my “goodie bag” from the open day at Imperial College. One tiny thing that I really love is a tin that contains miniature smarties – this is tough to explain, but you click the middle to open it, and squish the outside to lock it. I don’t know if these tins are called anything in particular. Video on YouTube.

Who?

My name’s Alex Muller.

I’ve completed two years of undergraduate study (in Computer Science and Maths) at the University of York.

I worked at GlaxoSmithKline, a large pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare company, from July 2010 until September 2011.

I’ve started my final year of university, learning loads of Python, a ton of probability & statistics and I'm taking a course titled “Crypto, Attacks & Countermeasures”. It’s brill. I love graphs and maps.
